An EICR (also called a periodic inspection and testing report) is an assessment of an existing electrical installation's safety and compliance. They're increasingly required by landlords for rental properties, by businesses as insurance requirements, and by property buyers during conveyancing. The demand exists; many electricians simply don't market this service.
